Hi, I'm Yza. I love creating things, doing stuff & going out there.
I usually spend my days practicing yoga, making beeswax candles, reading self-help + philosophy books, creating flower wreaths, painting on small papers, water-propagating plants, taking pictures of pets, brewing kombucha, and sewing clothes.
If I'm not doing any of those things, I am either working on marketing campaigns for e-commerce brands or taking a break somewhere sunny.
A few years ago, I came upon this Japanese concept called Ikigai. In a nutshell, Ikigai is the reason why you're waking up in the morning, what keeps you going and what you live for. Since then, it has been my lifelong journey to find mine and live by it.
And so, I did a lot of inner work in order to pinpoint what I really value in life and what truly matters to me. After connecting all the dots, the answer always points back to my insatiable passion for creating things and making life better—the same reason why I often spend my days doing a bunch of stuff that I could share with my circle to inspire them to live a sunny life.
From there, I started Sunny as a multi-faceted project divided into label, life and community. Label is a curated lifestyle shop and a slow movement for my handmade crafts like soy candles and flower wreaths. Life is a blog where I write about my musings and favorite moments while Community holds space for people who seek and share loving-kindness through the practice of yoga, mindfulness & creativity.
With this, feel free to explore the space and I hope you find something that brings you love and light.
